A Resolution Declaring County -owned Assets as
Surplus and Authorizing the Donation of These
Assets to Community Partners
RESOLUTION NO. 2011-145
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County hereby declares that County
assets previously used by the Healthy Start Prenatal Program are surplus and can be donated to community
partners. The Healthy Start Program clinical prenatal services occurring at the Deschutes County Health
Services location ended in September 2011. Prenatal services are no longer provided by Deschutes County, but
are now occurring in private obstetrical offices. Medical equipment associated with this project will to be
donated to community partners who provide this care to underserved pregnant women in the community.
Section 2. Approval is granted for the following items to be donated to St. Charles Health Systems:
