2013-1171-Resolution No. 2013-107 Recorded 9/26/2013REVIE D LEGAL COUNSEL COUNTY NANCYUTES BLANKENSHIP,PFICIAL COUNTY CLERKDS COMMISSIONERS' JOURNAL �g�Z6���� �$���;� AM III[11111111111111111111IIII3 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Adopting an Addition to the FY 2014 Fee Schedule for Services and Providing an Effective Date * RESOLUTION NO. 2013-107 * WHEREAS, various departments of Deschutes County charge fees for services and permits; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt and amend the fee schedules of Deschutes County in accordance with Chapter 4.12 of the Deschutes County Code, as amended; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Public Health Department have proposed an additional fee for services; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on September 25, 2013, on the proposed fee for services and finds that the fee for services as set forth in Exhibit "A" reflect the actual cost of providing services; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That the fee set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and, by this reference, incorporated herein, is hereby adopted as a fee of Deschutes County, Oregon, Section 2. The fee for services adopted in Section 1 of this Resolution is effective September 25, 2013. Section 3. All fees and charges for services and permits in effect prior to September 25, 2013, are hereby continued. This procedure was never performed in our clinic previously, but is required by one of our clients. We are requesting the new fee be set at $164.89. This fee was established using the minimum Medicaid reimbursement rate for this procedure plus the rate that we pay Dr. Jane Birschbach to perform this procedure, since it must be performed by a medical doctor.
