be used to finance vehicle and equipment acquisition for the

QUESTION: Shall the City of Bend issue general obligation bonds not to exceed
$2,200,000 for construction of a new city hall?
EXPLANATION:The City of Bend proposes to construct and equip a new City Hall
facility at the site of the existing City Hall;and to finance this with the proceeds of a
general obligation bond issue.The bonds will be repaid over a term not to exceed 20
years and the City shall pay for the bonds with a tax levy and other available funds.

3. One Year Tax Levy For Operating Expense Of Vector Control.
QUESTION: Shall Four Rivers Vector Control District be authorized to levy
$104,000 outside the tax base for financing operations during 1986-87?
EXPLANATION:This levy shall cover only operating cost of badly infested areas to
control the vectors infesting the district, particularly mosquitoes. This levy is within
the Oregon Limitations. Presently this Vector Control District does not have a Tax
Base since it is their first operating year and requires voters approval of a tax levy."If
this measure is approved $104,000 of the taxes levied will be financed partially by
the state of Oregon."
