FOR THE FINANCING OF OPERATION OF DESCHUTES COUNTY LIBRARY.

Shall Deschutes County, in order to provide funds for the operation of the Deschutes
County Library, consisting of the libraries in Bend, Redmond, Sisters, plus rural services,
make a special levy, which levy will be outside the limitation imposed by Article XI,
Section 11, of the Oregon Constitution, beginning in the fiscal year beginning July 1,
1974, in the amount of $109,480 annually, for a period of two consecutive years? NO
The maximum rate of levy shall be 25 cents per thousand dollars of true cash value of
taxable property per year. Such funds are to be expended for the continued operation
of the Deschutes County Library.

PROPOSAL
Shall the Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection District be authorized to exceed
the six percent limitation by the sum of $1560.00 to fund the budget for the
District for the fiscal year, 1974-1975? Said amount to be used to carry on
the operation and maintenance of the Fire District. Total levy would be $4680.
The maximum rate is estimated to be 95 cents per thousand dollars of true cash
value.

ELECTION FOR GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
Shall the Board of Directors of the Cloverdale Rural Fire Protection District
be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the amount of $30,000.00 YES
to mature over a period of six years? Beginning with the fiscal year 1974-75
and ending with the fiscal year 1979-80. Said Bonds to provide facilities
and equipment to update the fire fighting capabilities of the District and
the acquisition of a sub-station site.
