QUESTION: Shall the County be authorized to issue up to$14,400,000
■ of general obligation bonds for public safety facilities? If the bonds are
approved, they will be payable from taxes on property or property
■ ownership that are not subject to the limits of Section 11 b, Article XI, of
the Oregon Constitution.
- SUMMARY:This measure authorizes the County to issue$14,400,000
■ of general obligation bonds to finance public safety facilities and court
improvements. The measure allows the County to acquire property,
construct, equip and furnish a Juvenile Detention Facility, a Community
Corrections Building, a Juvenile Offender courtroom and Sheriff's
facilities. Measure authorizes construction and installation of
■ infrastructure,court facilities remodeling and the financing of all necessary
related costs and improvements.The bonds would mature over a period
■ ■ of not more than 25 years.

- QUESTION: Shall the District be authorized to contract a general
obligation bonded indebtedness in an amount not to exceed$5,500,000?

$5,500,000 general obligation bonds. Proceeds would be used to pay

■ computers, communications equipment, textbooks, and vocational
education and living skills equipment; district-wide improvements and
