QUESTION:Should the City of Bend construct the
- Southern River Crossing at this time?
SUMMARY:This advisory ballot question seeks
to determine whether the voters believe that the
- City of Bend should construct a new bridge across
the Deschutes River in the southwestern part of
- town at this time.The new bridge,which is gen-
erally called the"Southern River Crossing,"would
connect Mt.Washington Drive on the west side
- of the river to an extension of Reed Market Road
on the east side of the river.This vote is advisory
only.It has no legally binding effect.This vote is
- intended to assist the Bend City Council in decid-
ing whether to construct the Southern River
Crossing at this time.
