OFFICE BY LIZ SMITH, DIRECTOR,
- 40 O NO POSITION #4, LA PINE RURAL FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT
I, Liz Smith, was introduced to the LaPine Fire
- 41 • District as a volunteer and from there became a
lieutenant. Having served the district for five
years I ran for the Board of Directors and won
- 42 • the election.After taking three years off I decided
to run again also winning that election by a large

margin.

- best interest of the taxpayers and the district. I
believe that I have fulfilled those duties.
- The meeting held on August 24th was legal and
the executive session was attended via phone
conference with the Districts attorney. All mem-
bers of the board were notified and proof of this
is documented.Mr.Court was also notified and
this is documented as well.I can assure you that
- I have in my possession every document that
enables me to do my lob as a director.
The board currently has a pending lawsuit and
investigation from standards and practices,
- which will prove actions taken to be lawful and
just.Singling me out for recall prior to these rul-
ings would be irresponsible.
Keep your fire district moving forward and pro-
tect your tax dollar by voting NO on this recall.
SHALL LIZ SMITH, DIRECTOR,
