PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution#2015-095. The Victims' Assitance Fund was awarded additional Federal and State grant funding totaling $145,260. Resources from these awards will be used to fund a Victims' Advocate position (1.00 FTE) as well as implement technology upgrades and training. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The County will receive an additional $145,260 from the State of Oregon Criminal Fine Account and the Federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), which will provide additional resources not included in the FY 2016 Adopted Budget. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution#2015-095.
