Commissioners Anthony DeBone, Alan Unger and Tammy Baney, along with County Administrator Tom Anderson and Deputy County Administrator Erik Kropp, met with Ken Hales, Sonya Littledeer-Evans, Deevy Holcomb, Tammy Skovborg, Mary Fleischmann and Ken Mathers. Summary of meeting The Juvenile Division provided a brief history of items covered previously with the BOCC, shared key aspects of a recent division reorganization towards evidence-based practices, and discussed crucial issues, concerns and business trends we expect to impact business in the next year. CJO Tammy Skovborg demonstrated a key aspect of division reorganization —the intake and assessment process now being followed with all new referrals. Commissioner Baney and Administrator Anderson role-played a youth who had been referred to the department, and her father. The PowerPoint shown for the presentation is attached. No formal decisions were made, and the meeting adjourned at approximately 2:30 PM.
