for the following fiscal years: 12-13, 13-14, and 14-15. In response to a question from Commissioner

increase over the past several years. He noted that the increased filing fees related to small claims
approved by the state legislature will increase revenue approximately $30,000 this year.
Judge Fadeley noted that expenditures for software licensing will be less than previous years due to
a change in the software package used by the Justice Court. He stated that Deb Walker and Joe
Sadony from the Information Technology Department have been very helpful in the software
conversion.
Commissioner Baney asked about future trends for Justice Court. Judge Fadeley responded that he
expects the City of Redmond to continue to increase the number of tickets referred to Justice Court
and for the Sheriffs Office to stay the same. He also is projecting a continued increase in small
claims filings.
