Order Approving U.S. Forest Service
Withdrawal from the Sisters -Camp Sherman * ORDER NO. 2016 -036
Rural Fire Protection District
WHEREAS, a petition requesting withdrawal of property from Sisters -Camp Sherman Rural
Fire Protection District ( "District ") was duly filed with the Deschutes County Board of County
Commissioners ( "Board ") on or about February 12, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Assessor's Office verified that the withdrawal petition was
signed by the real property owner within the areas to be withdrawn; and
WHEREAS, the Board held a public hearing on September 14, 2016, to hear the petition and
any objections thereto, and there being no objections presented; now, therefore

HEREBY ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. The Petition for Withdrawal by U.S. Forest Service attached to and referenced in
Order No. 2016 -033 is hereby incorporated by reference and shows it would not be feasible for the
territory described in the petition to receive service from the District.
Section 2. The property identified in Order No. 2016 -033 is withdrawn and removed from
inclusion in the District.
Section 2. Upon Board signature, Legal Counsel staff shall forward a copy of this Order to the
Oregon Department of Revenue, Oregon Secretary of State Archives Division, Deschutes County
Assessor's Office and County Clerk's Office, Deschutes County 911, Jefferson County Assessor's
Office and County Clerk's Office, and the Sisters -Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District.
