LEGAL COUNSEL DESCHUTES NANCY BLANKENSHIP,PCOUNTY CLERK DS CJ 24!6'515 COMMISSIONERS' JOURNAL 12/16/2016 04:14:25 PM lILIIILlijLIIlihIIIIII IIIIII 21 -0 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON Order Approving Gary & Lisa Bendix Annexation into the Redmond Fire & Rescue District * ORDER NO. 2016-046 * WHEREAS, a petition by Gary & Lisa Bendix requesting annexation of property into Redmond Fire & Rescue District ("District") was duly filed with the Deschutes County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") on or about November 3, 2016; and WHEREAS, the petition satisfies the requirements for filing set forth in ORS 198.857; and WHEREAS, the Board held a public hearing on December 14, 2016, to hear the petition, and to determine whether, in accordance with the County Comprehensive Plan and County Zoning, the affected area would benefit by annexation of said territory into the District; and WHEREAS, no objection was raised at that public hearing; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Planning Department has confirmed that the requested annexation is consistent with the County's Comprehensive Plan and zoning, NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, HEREBY ORDAINS as follows: Section 1. The Petition for Annexation filed by Gary & Lisa Bendix with the Deschutes County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") on or about November 3, 2016, which petition is referenced in Order No. 2016-045 and incorporated herein by reference, is approved. Section 2. The territory to be annexed is described in the attached Exhibit "A", and the boundaries of the territory to be annexed are as set forth in the attached Exhibit "B". Section 3. The annexation is consistent with applicable County zoning and County Comprehensive Plan criteria, as evidenced by the attached Exhibit "C." Section 4. Upon Board signature, Legal Counsel staff shall forward a copy of this Order to the Oregon Department of Revenue, Oregon Secretary of State Archives Division, Deschutes County Assessor's Office and County Clerk's Office, Deschutes County 911, and the District.
