DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Monday, February 24,1997
Acting Chair Robert Nipper called the Board of Commissioners
meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. County Commissioners present were
Robert L. Nipper and Linda L. Swearingen. Also in attendance were
Rick Isham, County Counsel; Mike Maier; County Administrator; Tom
Blust, Public Works Director; Damian Syrnyk, Planner; George Read,
Community Development Director; Bruce White, Assistant County
Counsel; Dave Leslie, Planner; Brian Harrington, Planner; Kevin
Harrison, Planner, and Sue Stoneman, Community Relations
Specialist.
1. PUBLIC HEARING ON CONSIDERATION OF SUBMITTING COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION FOR TERREBONNE WATER
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Before the Board was a public hearing on consideration of
submitting a Community Development Block Grant application for
the Terrebonne Water System improvements.
Susan Mayea reported this was the second hearing which was
required under the Block Grant application. Susan Mayea also
reported the project that was submitted was the Terrebonne
Water System improvements.
Acting Chair Robert Nipper opened the public hearing.
There being no testimony, the public hearing was closed.
SWEARINGEN: I move submitting the Terrebonne Water System
improvement project.
NIPPER: I'll second that.
VOTE:
SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED
NIPPER: YES
SWEARINGEN: YES
