DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Audio Cassette Recording Titled: HEARING ON THE GLAZIER EXCHANGE, TO
ACQUIRE 125 NW LAFAYETTE STREET, BEND.
June 30, 1987; 10:00-10:15 AM.
A meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was held on June 30, 1987.
Commissioners present were Lois Prante, Dick Maudlin and Tom Throop. Also
present were Rick lsham, County Counsel; County Administrator Mike Maier; and
other staff. Also in attendance was a reporter from the Bulletin.
This meeting is a public hearing regarding the exchange of two County -owned lots
in Deschutes River Woods, with a value of about $6,000, plus $35,000, for
property known as 125 NW Lafayette Avenue, next to the Administration
Building.
The $35,000 is primarily from the license fees for recreational vehicles, which may
be expended for the acquisition and development of County parks.
Added to this amount is some additional earnings from the Park Development
Fund. The projected income per year is about $8,000.

The hearing was opened at this time.
Two other parties are involved: Bend Metro Park & Recreation and the
Landscaping Association. Mr. Maier has been discussing the project with them.
Demolition costs are about $2,400.
Being no testimony offered, the hearing was closed.
The Board voted and approved the exchange.
