A meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was held on April 25, 1988. Commissioners present were Lois Prante, Dick Maudlin and Tom Throop. Also present were Rick Isham, County Counsel; County Administrator Mike Maier; and other staff. Items discussed at this meeting may be on a future Board business meeting agenda: Discussion of Health Department 1988-89 Annual Plan and Grant Packet. This is a requirement of the State Health Department. (A lengthy presentation ensued regarding various services and the funding established for each service.) As usual, the services, State and federal funding, and the grant stream are subject to changes at the State level. Possible award of a bid for fuel and lube services and equipment for Public Works' vehicles. Possible signature of a minor partition for Ken and Linda Johnson off Butler Market Road. Hearing regarding the 1988-89 fee schedule changes and a Resolution. There has to be a public hearing per statute. Consideration of an out-of-state travel request. This discussion has been postponed because the conference won't happen until August. Signature of Findings and Decision on the River Meadow issue, as previously discussed. Minor partition of a parcel in the Deschutes Business Park, for developer Dennis Kerr. Minor partition for Sid Gill; this involves a one -acre parcel at Deschutes Memorial Gardens being split into two parcels. Agreement with the State Highway Division for the exchange of property for the Welcome Center. Lease document for ari upgrade of the main computer system. Mr. (sham said this would also include a Resolution. Discussion of approval of a BLM contract with the Sheriff's Office, for the patrol of BLM lands.
