That the following transfer of appropriation be made: Finance Internal Service Fund Contingency ($ 70,000) Program Budget $ 70,000 Section 2. CONTRACTOR: Contractor/Supplier/Consultant Name: N/A AGREEMENT TIMEFRAME: Starting Date: Ending Date: N/A INSURANCE:N/A BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: The Finance Director, Wayne Lowry, met with the Board of County Commissioners at the work session of January 31, 2018 to discuss this budget adjustment for the Finance Department. The adjustment involved an additional payroll position in Finance and the need for extra help to complete the process to move away from paper time -sheets. The position has been hired and will start on May 1. The process to move away from paper time sheets is progressing and should be completed by May 2018. The attached schedule makes the necessary changes to the Finance budget as discussed at the work session. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The budget adjustment appropriates contingency in the Finance fund in the amount of $70,000 for FY 2018. ATTENDANCE: Wayne Lowry, Finance Director REVIEWED LEGAL COUNSEL For Recording Stamp Only BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Amending the Authorized Balance of the Change Funds at the Solid Waste Knott Landfill and Transfer Stations * * RESOLUTION NO. 2018-010 WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Solid Waste Department is currently authorized to have a Change Fund in the amount of $3,500; and, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Deschutes County Solid Waste Dep.' went no longer needs its $150 Petty Cash Fund; and, WHEREAS, it would be a benefit to have an additional $150 in the Change Fund, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That the Petty Cash Fund be reclassified as a Change Fund. Section 2. That the authorized balance of the Change Fund is $3,650. DATED this /(4" th day of April, 2018. The department would like to reclassify the $150 petty cash fund into a change fund and add it to the existing $3,500 authorized change fund for a new authorized change fund amount of $3,650. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: Approval of the resolution will reclassify the petty cash fund into a change fund and will increase the existing change fund to $3,650. ATTENDANCE: Wayne Lowry, Finance Director
