ORDER NO. 2020 - 004 WHEREAS, certain personal property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto by this reference incorporated herein, is no longer needed for public use by the County; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to dispose of this surplus personal property; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate to dispose of such property by auction; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, HEREBY ORDERS as follows: Section 1. The Deschutes County Sheriff, or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of the personal property described in Exhibit A to this order at public auction. Section 2. The Chair is authorized on behalf of the County to execute any and all documents necessary to complete the transfer of any personal property authorized to be auctioned in accordance with this order. Deschutes County Code 2.37.110 (Disposal of County Surplus Personal Property) enables the Sheriff's Office to disposition surplus property through online auction that would otherwise continue to depreciate.
