2021-103-Resolution No. 2021-015 Recorded 3/19/2021REVIEWED IM LEGAL COUNSEL Recorded in Deschutes County CJ2021-103 Nancy Blankenship, County Clerk Commissioners' Journal 03/19/2021 3:52:04 PM (✓�jSFs C 2021-103 For Recording Stamp Only BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON ACTING AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE COUNTYWIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT DISTRICT (DISTRICT 1) AND THE RURAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DISTRICT (DISTRICT 2) A Resolution to Increase Appropriations within the 2020-21 Deschutes * RESOLUTION NO. 2021-015 County Budget WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office is primarily funded through Countywide and Rural Law Enforcement Districts (LEDs), and WHEREAS, on March 10"', 2021 the Board of County Commissioners considered a "-en"nenl frnm the Decch,µtec C niµnty Cheriff c Office to enter intn a onntra0.t niirr.hacino, mobile recording equipment, requiring an increase of appropriations in the amount of $398,238, and WHEREAS, ORS 294.463 allows the transfer of contingency within a fund when authorized by resolution of the governing body, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to transfer $398,238 in Contingency to Public Safety to accommodate this request; WHEREAS, ORS 294.473 allows a supplemental budget to increase appropriation amounts; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ACTING AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE COUNTYWIDE LAW ENFORCEMENT DISTRICT (DISTRICT 1) AND THE RURAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DISTRICT (DISTRICT 2), as follows: Section 1. That the following transfer of appropriations be made: Rural Law Enforcement Public Safety Contingency $ 398,238 ($ 398,238) RESOLUTION NO. 2021-015 1 ��; Section 2. That the following revenue be budgeted in the 2020-21 County Budget: Revenue Sheriff's Office Fund LED 2 Rural $ 398,238 Total Revenue 3�98 238 Section 3.
