* RESOLUTION NO. 2021-021
WHEREAS, On April 19"', 2021, the Board of County Commissioners discussed the
creation of 1.0 regular duration FTE to support Deschutes County 911 operations, and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County Policy HR-1 requires that a creation of or increase in FTE
outside the adopted budget be approved by the Board of County Commissioners; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ACTING AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE
DESCHUTES COUNTY 9-1-1 SERVICE DISTRICT, as follows:

Consideration of Board Signature of Resolution No. 2021-021 Increasing FTE Within the
2020-21 Deschutes County 911 Service District Budget
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Staff recommends approval of Resolution 2021-021 approving an increase in 1.0 regular
duration FTE within the Deschutes County 911 fund.
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
On April 19t" 2021, the Board of County Commissioners discussed the creation of 1.0 regular
duration operations supervisor FTE to support Deschutes County 911 operations. This
resolution would approve the proposed increase of FTE.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: In FY 2020-21 vacancy savings will cover the position cost. For FY
2021-22 there wold be an increase of $124,015 in Personnel cost to the Deschutes County
911 fund.
