years, we've held accurate and secure elections through our modern vote -by -mail system. Our
democracy works because Oregonians of all political stripes — Republican, Democrat, and
Independent — came together to build the best voting system in the country.
However, we are not immune to false information designed to undermine trust in this system. In
2024, it's more important than ever to get your information from official sources.

ballot. You can check to see if you're registered with a political party at Oregonvotes.gov.
• Register to vote by April 30. Register online or check your registration information at
Oregonvotes.gov. Ballots will be mailed out beginning on May 1. Election Day is May 21,
2024.
• Ballots must be received or mailed with a valid postmark by 8 p.m. Election Day. Yo
may also choose to drop your ballot at one of dozens of official drop boxes. Visit

In 2021, the Oregon Legislature passed the Voter Language Access Bill (HB 3021)

To help in this effort, the Translation Advisory Council was created. The Council is
made up of volunteer community members who represent the ethnic, linguistic, an
cultural diversity of Oregon voters. Council members make sure translations are

Democratic Party of Oregon
The Democratic Party of Oregon is working for progress and helping to elect Democrats in all corners of Oregon.
The Democratic Party believes that our nation's greatness is rooted in its diversity and ability to move forward together. We
invite all Oregonians, wherever they may be, to join us in our determination to move Oregon forward as a beacon of oppor-
tunity, acceptance and freedom. In the face of far -right attacks on our freedoms, we will continue to defend our democracy,
right to privacy, reproductive rights, civil rights, and the freedom of ALL Americans to live and love as they see fit.
We are a Party of almost one million Oregonians, coming from all walks of life, from all kinds of backgrounds and communi-
ties, and from all regions of our great state. Democrats believe that we're greater together than we are on our own —that this
country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules. Our
party is focused on building an economy that lifts up all Americans, not just those at the top.
Democrats have a strong record of accomplishments, including:
• raising the minimum wage to improve life for more than 100,000 workers and their families,
• reducing student loan debt,
• allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices,
• passing paid family and medical leave,
• the largest clean energy investment in U.S. history and moving Oregon to 100% clean energy by 2030, and
• ensuring our schools have the resources to help every student find success.
Oregon Democrats stand united in our belief in:
• Housing as a human right
• A right to health care for all
• Quality public schools
• Protection for labor unions and workers' rights
• Action to respond to climate change
• Humane immigration reform policies
• Racial and gender equity
• Protecting Social Security and expanding access to pensions
• Growing good jobs for Oregonians
• Criminal justice reform
• LGBTQ+ rights
• Gun safety measures
• Campaign finance reform
• Voting rights for all
• Civil rights for those living with disabilities
• Reproductive freedom
We invite all Oregonians to join us in affirming our determination that Oregon continue to become a beacon of economic
opportunity, tolerance, and freedom.

Government reform: Since 2007 we have been in the Honest Elections Oregon coalition that effectively compelled the Oregon
Legislature in its short 2024 session to enact limits on campaign contributions and requirements that the true sources of
campaign funds be disclosed and be featured in political ads ("taglines"), In its 165-year history, the Oregon Legislature had
never adopted campaign contribution limits. Because the Honest Elections Oregon coalition had already gathered over 100,000
signatures on its initiative petition to reform campaign finance in Oregon, the Legislature finally acted.
People centered policies: We work on policies that bring us together, like reducing the high cost of living (especially for hous-
ing), homelessness, addiction, and the causes and effects of fire and extreme weather on our communities.
Facts:
• We are the fastest growing party in Oregon, adding over 142,000 members since 2007 (4.7% of Oregon's registered voters).
• About 6.5% of all local office holders (city council members, commissioners, mayors) are IPO members.
• We're highly informed, rational, non -tribal, non -extremist voters.
• Our platform is fiscally responsible, socially compassionate, and environmentally protective.
• We fight to keep big money from buying government policy at all levels of government.
Today, government policies in Oregon are crafted by and for powerful corporations, large unions, and the wealthy. Government
is not accountable to regular people. There is not enough problem -solving. We stand against extremism, crisis entrepreneurs,
and those who seek to curtail individual rights.
We work to:
• Oppose spending on inefficient government programs and bailouts.
• Increase transparency in government, especially on how tax dollars are spent.
• Improve education and job training opportunities.
• Protect the environment and the climate effectively (reducing diesel emissions is a priority).
• Protect Oregon consumers from ripoffs and abuse, including medical billing.
• Provide incentives for business creation and expansion in Oregon, if the incentives return greater public benefit than they
cost.
PLATFORM
Our party platform (indparty.coM/Diatform) is based on our member issue surveys. See our past Voters' Pamphlet statements
at indparty.COM/VD.
COMMUNITY BASED CANDIDATES
We support candidates backed and trusted by their local communities, not the special interests that dominate Republican and
Democratic agendas. These special interests accounted for nearly all of the $153 million spent on Oregon political campaigns in
2022 and most of the $52 million spent in 2023 on lobbying in Oregon. Regular voters can't match those big dollars. But we can
fight them with our voting power.
WE ARE HAVING AN IMPACT
We have worked on several policies to protect taxpayers, consumers, and our environment over the years, but our main focus
has been to restore power to ordinary citizens. This year, our co-chair negotiated Oregon's first meaningful campaign finance
legislation. The coalition also brought campaign finance reform to Portland in 2018 and Multnomah County in 2016.

CHANGE YOUR REGISTRATION TO INDEPENDENT PARTY
Founded in 1971, based on the principles of non -aggression, voluntary cooperation, and maximum personal liberty,
the Libertarian Party has become America)s largest third -party.
For decades, the Libertarian Party of Oregon (LPO) has been stridently fighting for the rights of all Oregonians from intrusive,
oppressive, and overtaxing government which has been exploited by both Democrats and Republicans to prop up their
preferred special interests and political constituencies at the expense of the average citizen.
While the LPO's efforts have mostl been re resented b uncoordinated but wirited wrotest candidacies in ears Dast, the ne
strateM focused on the most yoliticallo viable districts across OreLon_andAar_yetiny incumbent Xoliticians, Eegy rdless of -,#art
affiliat"imn, whose policies have proven repugnant to the values of our members.
However, we are not ignorant to the fact the electoral system is rigged to benefit the special interest, corporate, and big labor
financed Democratic and Republican parties and that electoral success will be difficult, but certainly not impossible, until
reforms are made to the electoral process, such as:
1. Proportional Representation of seats in the State House and Senate.
III. Ranked Choice Voting in all elections.
Ill. Allowing Voters to choose "None of the Above" for any office on the ballot.
Waging Peace by Reiecting Entangling Foreign Alliances
The Libertarian Party has long rejected unneeded foreign entanglements such as the NATO, the IMF, and the WHO that only
push our nation and the world ever closer to nuclear war, poverty, and ill health. International relations should be based on
situational politics and the self-interest of the United States, it is in that vein that the LPO firmly opposes:
A. Providing further military support to Ukraine in its regional dispute with Russia, which has fed inflation, fueled global
economic distress, and greatly increased the threat of nuclear war for the first time in generations.
B. The United States government continuing as chief arms supplier for the world, which has facilitated and made our govern-
ment complicit in countless humanitarian tragedies, such as the ongoing massacre of the civilian population of Gaza by
Israeli Defense Forces, which many experts in international law consider to be a genocide.
C. Providing economic or military subsidy to any foreign government.
but which, by way of our government's involvement, negatively effects our national security and economy as a whole. Of
Oregon's congressional delegation, the worst of these offenders are:
Lori Chavez-DeRemer (Republican, Congressional District 5)
Val Hoyle (Democrat, Congressional District 4)
Andrea Salinas (Democrat, Congressional District 6)
These incumbents have continually shown their willingness to put the interests of their constituents second to that of foreign
powers and the arms industry, proving their unworthiness to hold office. The LPO is actively recruiting candidates for THESE
and ALL OTHER races across our state and encourages ANY interested persons to contact us at campaigns@lporegon.org.

principles of ecological wisdom, social justice, grassroots democracy, and nonviolence, we offer pragmatic solutions to the
pressing issues of our time.

Oregon's $)4obillion ofstate investment funds should ueinvested inpublic works and jobs for Oregonians, instead ofcor-

capitalists, corporate raiders and leveraged buyout artists who invest Oregon funds in fossil fuels and makers of spyware used
tooppress activists worldwide (search mSO. Pegasus, Oregon).
Oregon local governments borrow about $4 billion per year, mostly for infrastructure improvements, and pay around $200
million per year infees toissue bonds and high bond interest rates.
Let's cut out the Wall Street middle men. Local governments should borrow the needed funds from an Oregon State Bank. The
Bank of North Dakota funds local infrastructure improvements at interest of 2%. If an Oregon State Bank charged local govern-
ments 3% interest, they would save $40 million per year in interest as well as avoid the $200 million per year in fees.
Military Spending
The bloated U.S. military budget ($886 billion in 2024) should be cut by $250 billion. The u.S.has active duty u.S. troops inlrn
countries and /onforeign military bases.
Grassroots Democracy
Oregonians need to be able to effectively use the initiative process, including secure electronic signatures to allow wider
participation. We support STAR Voting and Ranked Choice Voting to break the 2-party domination and the "spoiler effect."
Human Rights
We believe that all human beings are fundamentally worthy of respect and dignity. Wesupport equal rights for all, including
same -sex marriage. We support the rights of trans kids and adults to participate without discrimination in all aspects of life. We
support Medicare for All comprehensive health care. We oppose cuts in Social Security & Medicare benefits.
Environmental Protection and Justice
and the foreign export of logs from all forests in Oregon.
Fair Taxation
Oregon's income tax kicker should be converted to a Workers' Kicker that refunds the same to every taxpayer. We oppose
government promotion of gambling, which is a hidden regressive tax. We support removing the mortgage interest deduction
on vacation homes.

Republicans believe that limited government makes good sense.
• The most efficient and most effective government is bottom -up, beginning with self-government, and moving outward
family, community, city, county, state, and finally the distant federal government.
• Bloated government infringes unnecessarily on personal liberty.
• Bloated government strangles citizens with excessive taxation and regulation, fueling inflation and the cost of grocerie
homes, fuel, and other necessities.
• Bloated government hamstrings small businesses with over -regulation and soaring costs, often driving them away to
business -friendly states or forcing them to sell to corporate conglomerates.
• Bloated government is vulnerable to pay -to -play corruption and lack of accountability, problems all too familiar to
Oregonians. I
• Individual liberty is essential to peace and harmony in a society rich with diverse cultures and traditions. We live better
together when we are free.
• Individual liberty guards against tyranny and suppression of minority groups and minority voices.
• Individual private property rights are the well -spring of economic prosperity.
• Individual liberty cultivates a rich diversity of freely -expressed ideas, leading to innovation and collaborative problem -
solving. We're stronger when we work through disagreements rather than squelch dissent.
• Republicans believe in individual liberty and personal responsibility, but we also believe in generosity. Generosity, like
government, is most effective and least corruptible at close range. Personal generosity, unlike government largesse,
nurtures human bonds that tie communities together.
. . . I - - Al . k , .. a
• Laws exist for the protection of society and the preservation of both individual rights and personal accountability.
• The U.S. Constitution and the Oregon Constitution are the highest laws of the land, and all other laws must be consistent
with them.
• Our military, law enforcement officers, and courts are charged with the task of maintaining order and keeping our com-
munities safe.
• Public officials, including district attorneys, have a sworn duty to equally enforce the law and safeguard individual consti-
tutional rights.
• Secure national borders and the enforcement of federal immigration laws in all jurisdictions is essential to national secu-
rity. Republicans welcome legal immigrants into our communities.
These principles —limited government, individual liberty and personal responsibility, and the rule of law —shape our priorities:
• Unwavering preservation of all Constitutional rights for all citizens
• Restraint in government spending
• Lower taxation and preservation of the Oregon kicker
• Reduction of development charges driving up housing costs
• Elimination of burdensome over -regulation subjecting Oregon's small farms and businesses to corporate takeovers and
foreign ownership of land and of the means of production
• Production of affordable, reliable, domestic energy from diverse sources, including hydropower from Oregon dams
• The right to choose consumer products —vehicles, appliances, home heating, etc. —without undue government
interference
• Elimination of perpetual government subsidies to artificially advantage specific energy segments
• Healthy forest management including post -fire harvest and regeneration to minimize the risk of catastrophic wildfires
• Secure, transparent elections, with voter rolls consisting only of all eligible Oregon voters
• Steadfast support for our military and veterans
• School choice for all parents and children, not just the wealthy. We cannot sacrifice this generation of children to closed
schools, walkouts, cultural battles, and failing academic standards
Join with your Republican friends and neighbors as we face the future with determined optimism, acknowledging and learn-
ing from both the errors and the virtues of the past, while working diligently to build a stronger Oregon and a better future
for all Oregonians.

What is the Oregon Working Families Party?
The Oregon Working Families puny is about uuxmnn an Oregon that works for all of us, not just the wealthy and well
connected.
How dmmmbuild political power for working people?
The Oregon Working Families Party is minor pv|moa| party that uses fusion voting, which allows us to cross -nominate
candidates from major parties if they support our values and our issues. If not, we can run our own candidates, but we prefer
not tounspoilers ortowaste your vote.
What does umean when you see "Working Families" next tnmvavmuateffsname?
It means you know that they have our seal of approval -- and you can vote for them with the confidence that they will do the
best job vffighting for working people.
What uowe stand for?
THE OnsGOmWORKING FAMILIES PARTY PLATFORM
A Democracy that Works for the many, not the few.
We vigorously fight any efforts to suppress voters. We must eliminate the ability of wealthy donors and corporations to buy
politicians and protect the integrity of our voting system from all threats, foreign and domestic.
Building Worker Power
We demand fair rules and legislation that strengthen unions and create fair working conditions for everyone. Weencourage all
workers ,vform or join unions and bargain collectively to determine their terms and conditions ofemployment.
Health Care and Housing for Everyone
yee|m care and quality housing are human rights. Society has an obligation to be certain that everyone has a decent place to
live, access tnhealth care, clean air, clean water, and ohealthy climate. Make healthcare free and universal and guarantee
home and community based services for everyone, including mental health care.
Eliminate restrictive local zoning rules that keep housing and oohon|o ueoreoetnu by race and o|eaa. Aid Black families, and
other people of color harmed by reclining in buying homes.
Respect the sovereignty of Indigenous Peoples and Tribal Nations.
Quality, Free Education
Quality education is the backbone of any society. We must make public pre-K- 12 a priority again and eliminate schemes that
siphon public funds from the public system. From universal preschool to higher education — including trade schools, public
colleges, and universities — all must be tuition free.
Fixing our Broken Criminal Justice System
Wedemand anend tomass incarceration and the for -profit prison system. Weoppose minimum sentencing requirements that
have resulted inthe worm'slargest prison population. Wealso must end forced arbitration schemes used toshield the abuse
of corporations.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform
Our party stands for fair comprehensive immigration reform that realigns legal immigration standards to reflect today's condi-
tions, a system not based on race. The two decades old experiment called ICE has failed; it's time to eliminate ICE.
Creating aState Bank
Wedon't need billionaire bankers. We need a state owned bank to support small businesses and family farms and keep
Oregon's money inOregon.
Fair Trade, Fair Economy
We need trade rules that build strong economies among all trading partners, that enable enforcement of domestic labor and
environmental laws, and that regulate and tax global capital. We fight for ojust transition away from the global fossil fuel
economy that guarantees working families sustainable livelihoods for generations ,ocome.
Tax the Rich
It's high time that wealthy individuals and corporations pay their fair share of taxes. Their greed impacts every aspect of our
lives. We must reestablish the tax rates of the 1950's and 60's when our country built a strong middle class and the infrastruc-

Human Trafficking, homelessness, the Fentanyl crisis, shop-

• A good Attorney General is an advocate, of the people
and for the people. Too many elected officials, in this role,
forget that they are representing the people of the state of
Oregon, not the Governor or other authorities.
• I am that Attorney General. A staunch and tireless advo-
cate for all. I will be a check on the balance of power, that
for far too long, has not protected the people of Oregon
according to the constitution.
• If you have an issue with the state, an agency, employee
or any elected individual; the Attorney General's office
should be your first call, if you are unable to resolve the
matter on your own.

We face a major housing crisis. The dream of homeownership
is unrealistic for many families due to skyrocketing costs and
innovative housing projects and promote policy that encour-

Everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.
Since the last election, Oregonians were devastated by a
global pandemic and regional wildfires. Our behavioral

"I'm not asking you to vote for me, vote for yourself." (Harry
Truman)
Let me explain that.
Many voters dislike political campaigns because too many
candidates:
• Just throw mud at their opponents instead of offering
solutions for problems.
• Strive hard to not answer direct questions and instead
pivot to some canned talking point.
• Love to talk in broad platitudes (which sound great but
mean nothing).
lam offering a real, viable solution to combat evasiveness and
platitudes while engaging voters.
People running for office are effectively applying for a job.
What I propose is that just like every other job applicant,
candidates should be interviewed by their prospective
employers, the voters. To conduct such an interview, I would
add a new tab on the SOS's website that would allow any
registered voter to ask questions of any or all of the candi-
dates that the voter can vote for.
With the new tab:
• Voters could ask candidate(s) questions 24/7/365 from
any smartphone, laptop, or desktop.
• The questions and answers would be in writing and open
for everyone to see, 24/7/365.
• After the election, all questions and answers would
be archived and kept for future review, access, and
accountability.
• Voters would make their decision on who to vote for
based, not upon negative T.V. or radio ads, but instead
upon who had the best answers to the voter's questions!
• Candidates would be forced to run campaigns that are:
1. Responsive/interactive
2. inform ative/ed u catio na 1
3. substantive; and
4. something that voters feel empowered about.
If voters voted for people who had the best answers to their
questions, we would finally get elected officials who would
actually address the problems we face!
Questions/comments; call me at 541-531-2912 (Good luck
getting ahold of the other candidates).
Vote for yourself, by voting for me!

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV)
I support HB2004 (on the November ballot). RCV ensures fair
elections and is decades overdue.
Presidential Primaries:
I support proposed initiative 2026-025 that establishes
a "Lincoln Primary" and "Final Five Voting" for the U.S.
Presidential election. Oregonians should have a meaningful
opportunity to participate in - and affect the outcome of
presidential race.
Oregon's closed presidential primaries will be replaced by
one six -month -long tracking poll. (Lincoln Primary) Beginning
February 1st and continuing through July, voters can go online
and endorse a presidential candidate. At any time during the
poll, voters can go back online and change their endorse-
ments. (A tracking poll works like a caucus to consolidate
support behind the best candidates.) On August 11st, the top
five candidates qualify for the general election ballot.
The Electoral College:
Initiative 2026-025 also gives each Oregon Electoral College

popular vote. Trump lost in 2016 but was still elected •. How
many more elections will be stolen? The "National Popular
Vote Interstate Compact" is worthless.
Free and Fair Elections:
I'm not a Democrat. I'm independent. I would run as an
independent candidate, but this requires collecting 23,744
natures. I qualified for this election as a Democrat by paying
$100. 1 didn't collect any signatures and wasn't required to
hold an assembly of 1000 electors.
None of the Above (N.O.T.A.)
In the 2016 race for Secretary of State, a Republican was
Democrat who didn't genuinely support free and fair elec-
tions. This November, I'll "write-in" N.O.T.A for each federal
office on my ballot. (Upping the ante) After 32 years of asking
equal voting rights - until forced to do so.

• Responsibly invested billions of dollars in Oregon's

of thousands of workers, and created OregonSaves,
so Oregonians without a pension plan can save for
retirement.

code; increased options for families to save for college;
and passed Open Oregon, which has saved 1.5 million
students over $152 million on textbooks.
• Protected our environment by saving the Elliott Forest
and creating the plan to bring Oregon's pension fund to
net zero carbon emissions.
