If the voters had not had approved the previous annexation those jobs would have been lost to Bend or Redmond.The school district land the voters approved is outside the Urban Growth Boundary and will not be available for industrial uses until the city and state expand the UGB.A yes vote kj for this annexation will be voting yes to create more land zoned Light Industrial.
