ORDER NO. 2001-098 WHEREAS, Deschutes County applied to change a road name pursuant to Deschutes County's Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System, Title 16, to change the name of this Mallard Drive to Avocet Drive, located in Township 20 South, Range 11 East, W.M., Section 19; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Department has reviewed the proposed name change and approved it pursuant to Title 16; and WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under Title 16 regarding the proposed name change have been given; and WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community Development Department's approval has expired; and WHEREAS, Title 16 requires that road names be changed by order of the Board of County Commissioners; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That the name of this Mallard Drive be changed to Avocet Drive, as shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the Community Development Department take such further steps as are required to ensure that the road is so identified for all purposes. DATED this ��day of 2001.
