Public Hearing George Read, Planning Department, stated that new Establishing zoning criteria had been developed because it was felt Rezoning that the present criteria wasn't explicit and in some Standards cases no longer applied. The Planning Commission had requested that new criteria be drafted and they also recommended that the Board adopt the proposed criteria. Mr. Read read aloud the proposed criteria. Award of Bids Mr. Hoerning stated there had been two bids out, one for 25,000 tons of crushed rock and the other for completion of Murphy Road. R.L. Coats was the low bidder on both projects. The Public Works Department recommends that the crushed rock bid be awarded to R.L. Coats who submitted the low bid of $157,500. MOTION: TUTTLE moved to accept the bid of R.L. Coats for $157,500 for crushed rock. PRANTE: Second. VOTE: UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. The Murphy Road project is for the construction of curbs, sidewalk, base, paving and culdesac bulb. Out of three bids submitted, the low bid was from R.L. Coats in the amount of $39,270. It was the Public Works Department's recommendation to award the bid to R.L. Coats. MOTION: PRANTE moved to award the bid to R.L. Coats for $39,270 as presented by Dave Hoerning. TUTTLE: Second. VOTE: UNANIMOUS APPROVAL. Reappointment Chairman Young read aloud a memo from Don Garris, Building to Building Official, recommending that Marshal Ricker and Gary Codes Board Nickerson be reappointed to the Building Codes Board Appeals of Appeals. (action item) MOTION: PRANTE moved to appoint Marshal Ricker and Gary Nickerson to the Building Codes Board of Appeals for the terms stipulated. TUTTLE: Second. VOTE: UNANIMOUS APPROVAL.
