CLERK Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Refer- ring this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investi- gation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 83-021 WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed im- provement of Glenwood Drive in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve this road; and WHEREAS, it appears that such road should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a portion of Glenwood Drive to Deschutes County Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described as follows: Lots 1 through 10 of Block 3; Lot 1 of Block 2 and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 of Block 4 of the PLAT OF GLENWOOD ACRES, Deschutes County, Oregon; Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of FIRST ADDITION, GLENWOOD ACRES, Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 2. That the dedicated road to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is described as follows: Y4249 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 83-021 VOL 47 PAGE 809 That portion of Glenwood Drive from the intersection of Burgess Road to the Southwest corner of Lot 10, Block 3, all within the plat of Glenwood Acres, Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Clearing and Grubbing. 2. Subgrade preparation. 3. Placement of 32 foot wide cinder base. 4. Placement of 24 feet in width 0-9 oil mat. 5. Installation of street name signs. 6. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements and any related costs. Section 4. The road to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Local Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves- tigation required under ORS 371.625. DATED this I -SH* day of 1983.
