RESOLUTION NO. 83-022
WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed
improvement of a portion of N. W. 35th Street in Deschutes County,
Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to
improve this road; and
WHEREAS, it appears that such road should be improved; and
WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that
the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform
required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a
portion of N. W. 35th Street to Deschutes County Local Road
Standards for the benefit of the area described as follows:
A tract of land lying in the East one-half of the
Southeast one-quarter of Section 6, the Northeast
one-quarter of Section 6, and West one-half of the
Northwest one-quarter of Section 5, all in Township 15
South, Range 13 East of the Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon, said tract of land being
more particularly described as follows:

All of the Plat of Hidden Valley Mobile Estates No. 1
as filed in the office of the County Clerk, Deschutes
County, Oregon;
ALSO: All of the Plat of Hidden Valley Mobile Estates
No. 2, Plat No. 122, as filed in the office of the
County Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon;
ALSO: All of the Plat of Canyon Ranch Estates No. 2,
Plat No. 387 as filed in the office of the County
Clerk, Deschutes County, Oregon;
ALSO: All that portion of the Northeast one-quarter
of the Northeast one-quarter of said Section 6 lying
Northerly of the North line of said Plat of Hidden
Valley Mobile Estates No. 2;
ALSO: All of the Southeast one-quarter of Southeast
one-quarter of said Section 6;
ALSO: All of the West one-half of the Northwest
one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter of said
Section 5;
ALSO: A portion of the West one-half of the Southwest
one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter of said
Section 5 being described as follows: Beginning at
the Northwest corner of said Southwest one-quarter of
the Northwest one-quarter; thence Easterly along the
North line of said Southwest one-quarter of the North-
west one-quarter 514 feet; thence, Southerly to a
point on the South line of the Northwest one-quarter
of said Southwest one-quarter of the Northwest one-
quarter which bears easterly 534 feet from the South-
west corner of said Northwest one-quarter of the
Southwest one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter;
thence, Southerly to a point on the South line of said
Northwest one-quarter which bears Easterly 455 feet
from the Southwest corner of said Northwest one-
quarter; thence, Westerly to said Southwest corner of
the Northwest one-quarter; thence, Northerly to the
point of beginning.
Section 2. That the dedicated road to be improved within the
district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is described as
follows:
That portion of N. W. 35th Street from the intersec-
tion of Maple Avenue to the Southeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 1 of the Plat of Hidden Valley Mobile Estates
No. 1 subdivision of Deschutes County, Oregon.

Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the
district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the
following:
1. Clearing and Grubbing.
2. Subgrade preparation.
3. Placement of 32 foot wide cinder base or aggregate base.
4. Placement of 24 feet in width 0-9 oil mat or 2 inches of
AC paving.
5. Installation of street name signs.
6. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing,
administration and planning, and construction of the
proposed improvements and any related costs.
Section 4. The road to be improved as a result of this
Resolution shall be improved to County Local Road Standards.
Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the
County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in
accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the
services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves-
tigation required under ORS 371.625.
