1995-37174-Resolution No. 83-023 Recorded 6/16/1983953'71'74 VOL 47 ?ASF 813 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Initiating Pro- ceedings to Improve Certain Dedicated Roads Known as a Portion of Cheyenne Road and a Portion of Cherokee Road in Deschutes County, Oregon; (Cheyenne Road L.I.D.), Describing the Roads to be Improved; Designating Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Refer- ring this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investi- gation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 83-023 1AARY SUE PEUOLLOW, CO. CLERK WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of a portion of Cheyenne Road and a portion of Cherokee Road in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve these roads; and WHEREAS, it appears that such roads should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a portion of Cheyenne Road and a portion of Cherokee Road to Deschutes County Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described as follows: Lots 46 through 92, Block S; Lot 2, Block T; Lots 26 through 32, Block L; and Lot 44, Block K; all within Deschutes River Woods subdivision in Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 2. That the dedicated roads to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution are described as follows: 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 83-023 EY �° ��.� 5 r val 47 ?Acr 814 That portion of Cheyenne Road from the intersection of Cinder Butte Road through the intersection of Cherokee Road, and a portion of Cherokee Road from the inter- section of Cheyenne Road to the intersection of Navajo Road, all within Deschutes River Woods subdivision in Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadways within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Clearing and Grubbing. 2. Subgrade preparation. 3. Placement of 32 foot wide cinder base. 4. Placement of 24 feet in width 0-9 oil mat. 5. Installation of street name signs. 6. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements and any related costs. Section 4. The roads to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Local Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves- tigation required under ORS 371.625. DATED this I.5-1� day of -J vw--- , 1983.
