' - VOL 47 FACE 815 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Initiating Pro- ceedings to Improve a Certain Dedicated Road Known as a Portion of Preble Way in Deschutes County, Oregon; (Preble Way L.I.D.), Describing the Road to be Improved; Designating Where the Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the Nature of the Improvements; and Refer- ring this Resolution to the County Engineer for Investi- gation of the Proposed Improvements. RESOLUTION NO. 83-024 rIIARY SUE PEUDLLOI�J, CD. CLERK WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of a portion of Preble Way in Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve this road; and WHEREAS, it appears that such road should be improved; and WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Public Works Department of Deschutes County, Oregon, perform required engineering and surveying for this improvement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve a portion of Preble Way to Deschutes County Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described as follows: Lots 30, 33, 34, 37, 38, 41, 42, 45, 46, 49, 50, 53, 54, 57, 58 and the West one-half of Lot 29 of the B.L.M. Tracts platted in Section 14, Township 22 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 2. That the dedicated road to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of this Resolution is described as follows: 1 - RESOLUTION NO. 83-024 VOL 41 FAC.816 That portion of Preble Way from the intersection of Finley Butte Road to the Southeast corner of Lot 57 of the B.L.M. Tracts platted in Section 14, Township 22 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 3. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include all or part of, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Clearing and Grubbing. 2. Subgrade preparation. 3. Placement of 32 foot wide cinder base. 4. Placement of 24 feet in width 0-9 oil mat. 5. Installation of street name signs. 6. Engineering, surveying, legal, interim financing, administration and planning, and construction of the proposed improvements and any related costs. Section 4. The road to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County Local Road Standards. Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the County Engineer for investigation of the proposed improvements in accordance with ORS 371.625. The County Engineer may engage the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the inves- tigation required under ORS 371.625. DATED this A day of -_.J XYZ p , , 1983.
