Amendments Chairman Young read aloud the amendments to the

Acceptance of Neil Hudson, Director of Public Works, explained that

Acceptance of Chairman Young read aloud the Acceptance of Easement
Easement from William A. Foster, Jr., Elroy Prosch, Louis c.

Rick Isham explained that this is a dedication for a
reserve strip. The reserve strips were never given a
lot number so the Assessor never picked them up and
this should clear it up.
MOTION: TUTTLE moved to sign the Acceptance of
Easement.

Order #83-286 Chairman Young read aloud the ordinance. He explained
Rescinding that it rescinds the order instructing the Assessor &
Order #83-283 the Treasurer not to spend any funds on the supple -
Relating to mental late tax levy until such time the County had
Supplmental the money to pay for it. This Ordinance would allow
Tax Role for the late tax levy to be processed and supplemental
(action item) tax billings to be mailed to taxpayers within the
District's boundaries on or before December 15, 1983.
MOTION: PRANTE moved to adopt Order #83-286
rescinding Order #83-283 relating to the
supplemental tax role.

Vehicle Main- Mike Maier, Director of Administrative Services,

stated that he has discussed this with some of the

department heads and has received strong support.
Fund Proposal
The reason for this fund would be to assure that funds

would be available to replace vehicles. Mr. Maier
explained that this proposal would be to lease the
vehicles to the county departments and the money would
go into the maintenance and replacement fund. In this
way, vehicle replacement should stay consistent
throughout the life of the vehicles. The maintenance
costs will be reviewed to determine the actual
maintenance costs and the fund will be adjusted as
necessary. This will place a lease account in the
department budget. The maintenance costs are
estimated to be $54.16 per month per department. This
fund should enable more control of the fleet. Mr.
Maier explained that vehicles will continue to be
purchased out of the Revenue Sharing Fund for the next
two years, but as soon as the Vehicle Maintenance and
Replacement Fund is established, it will be used for
the purchasing of vehicles.
MOTION: PRANTE moved to support the concept of the
Vehicle Replacement and Maintenance Fund.

Re -appointment The Board of Commissioners received a letter from
to Lazy River Vernetta Minton, Commissioner/Secretary, of the
Special Road Lazy River Special Road District requesting that
District William Dobson, whose term as commissioner of the road
district, be re -appointed for another two years. The
new term of Mr. Dobson will be from January 1, 1984 to
December 31, 1986.
MOTION: TUTTLE moved to re -appoint William Dobson for
a two year term on the Lazy River Special
Road District.

VOTE: UNANIMOUS APPROVAL
OLCC Liquor MOTION: TUTTLE moved to approve the OLCC Liquor
License License Application for China Ranch.
