WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes
County, Oregon, has received the Engineer's proposed assessment
for each parcel of land for the improvement of roads in
Equestrian Meadows L.I.D.; and
WHEREAS, ORS 371.645 provides that the Board must set a
public hearing by Order of the Board to hear objections to any
such proposed assessment; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the report of the Engineer, marked Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein,
is hereby accepted, and that a public hearing for the purpose of
hearing objections to the proposed assessment shall be held on
Wednesday, February 22, at 10:00 a.m. in the Deschutes County
Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon.
Section 2. That the Director of Public Works, on behalf of
the Board o' County Commissioners, mail written notice within
five days of the date of said hearing to the owners of the par-
cels described in Exhibit "A", identifying the parcel, showing
the proposed assessment, and giving notice of the hearing
scheduled in Section 1 of this Order.
Section 3. That the written notice to be given in Section 2
shall comply substantially with the form of notice marked Exhibit
"B", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.

SUBJECT: COMPLETION OF EQUESTRIAN MEADOWS L.I.D. W-59
The work on the Equestrian Meadows L.I.D. has been completed. Pursuant
to ORS 371.645, I hereby ascertain the amount of assessment against each
parcel in the district for the improvement of N.E. Juniper Ridge Road,,
N.E. 11th Street, and N.E. Lynch Aveune platted in Equestrian Meadows,
Phase 2, DeLchutes County Plat No. 451 recorded November 19, 1980 in
Volume 19, Page 46 and 46 A and filed in Cabinet B-785 and 786 in the
Office of the Deschutes County Clerk.
The total cost of the improvement is $98,370.18. This is based on the
contract cost of $85,539.20 and the engineering and administration cost
of $12,830.98 for the project. The initial estimated cost of the project
was $144,000.00 for a reduction of $45,629.82 for the project.
The final cost of $98,370.18 will be assessed against the following 27
lots shown on Exhibit "A", at a equal assessment of $3,643.34.

The Board of County Commissioners has ordered a hearing regarding
the road improvement affecting the above tax lot on Wednesday,
February 22, 1984, Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend,
Oregon, at 10:00 a.m., for the purpose of hearing objections to
the assessments fixed in the Engineer's Report of the road
improvement abutting your property.
The proposed assessment for this parcel is shown above.
After this hearing, the Board will certify the assessments. When
the assessments are fixed, you will have until March 30, 1984, to
apply to pay your assessment in installments. If you do not
apply to pay in installments, the total amount of the assessment
will be due and payable. An application will be mailed after the
assessment is fixed.
