WHEREAS, a petition requesting a vacation of a portion of
Kemple Drive and a portion of West Campbell Road, described in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein, was filed with the Board of County Commissioners of
Deschutes County, Oregon, on June 8, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners declared its
intent to vacate said road by Resolution No. 82-057, dated
November 24, 1982; and
WHEREAS, notice of hearing was given in accordance with law;
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on January 19, 1983, to consider
the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that it is in the public interest
to vacate the public property; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the property, described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, is
hereby vacated.
Section 2. That Vicki and Darrell Lee are liable for the
payment of costs in the amount of $100.00 resulting from this
approved vacation.
Section 3. That any person liable for payment of costs
shall pay the amount of costs established.
Section 4. That the Deschutes County Surveyor is directed
to mark the plat, if any, as provided in ORS 271.230.
Section 5. That this Order shall be recorded with the
Deschutes County Clerk, and copies shall be filed with e
Deschutes County Surveyor and Deschutes County Assesso_,',i[D

A parcel of land being a portion of Kemple Drive and West Campbell
Road in the plat of First On the Hill Sites, Deschutes County,
Oregon, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Block 5 of said plat,
being a 1/2" iron rod; thence North 760 18' 30" East 131.95 feet
to a 5/8" iron rod; thence along the arc of a 25.00 foot radius
curve concave to the Southwest, a distance of 65.76 feet, (long
chord bears South 28° 19' 54" East 48.38 feet), to a 5/8" iron
rod; thence South 47° 01' 42" West 132.13 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 4, being a 1/2" iron rod; thence along the arc
of a 58.07 foot radius curve concave to the Southwest, a distance
of 167.04 feet, (long chord bears North 280 14' 55" West 115.12
feet) to the point of beginning and there terminating, containing
0.15 acres (6705 sq. ft.), more or less.
SUBJECT TO the reservation of a utilities easement in and upon all
of the property; for the purpose -s of --continuing, constructing,,.
installing, maintaining, repairing, reconstructing, replacing,
enlarging and altering; wires, poles, pipes, lines, structures,
casings, supports, equipment, facilities and appurtenances; at the
present and in the future; necessary or convenient; to Deschutes
County, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon, its
agents, licensees and permittees; forever.
