ORDINANCE NO. 84-021
WHEREAS, ORS 271.360 and 271.370 provides that every lease
entered into by Deschutes County shall be authorized by ordin-
ance; and
WHEREAS, the Board having considered the leasing of certain
real property to William S. Prewitt; and
WHEREAS, William S. Prewitt is desirous of leasing County
property; and
WHEREAS, the Board finding that the subject property is not
now needed for public use, and that the public interest will be
furthered by the leasing of said property; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. That the lease to William S. Prewitt for that
real property located in Section 21, Township 17 South, Range 13
East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, more
particularly described as follows:
The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, and the
Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, and the
South Half of the Southeast Quarter, and the North Half
of the Northeast Quarter, and the Southeast Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter (NE1/4 SE1/4, SEI/4 NW1/4, S1/2
SEI/4, N1/2 NE1/4, SEI/4 NE1/4), of Section 21, Town-
ship 17 South, Range 13 East of the Willamette
Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon,
is hereby authorized.

Section 2. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect on its
passage.
