SURVEYOR'S NARRATIVE:
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO SET ALL THE CORNERS FOR LOT 8,
BLOCK 9 OF SUN MOUNTAIN RANCHES. ALL MONUMENTS FOUND WITHIN THE
PLAT OF SUN MOUNTAIN RANCHES WERE 1 /2" SMOOTH BARS. FOR THE WEST
LINE, I HELD A LINE FROM LOCATION 3 AND LOCATION 11.TO RE—ESTABLISH
THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST CORNERS, I PROPORTIONED THE LINE
BETWEEN LOCATION 3 AND LOCATION 11, WHILE HOLDING 60.00 FEET FOR THE
RIGHT OF WAY FOR 2ND AVENUE. FOR THE EAST LINE, I HELD A LINE FROM
LOCATION 4 AND LOCATION 10. TO RE—ESTABLISH THE NORTHEAST AND
SOUTHEAST CORNERS, I PROPORTIONED THE LINE BETWEEN LOCATION 4 AND
LOCATION 10 WHILE HOLDING 60.00 FEET FOR THE RIGHT OF WAY FOR 2ND
AVENUE. MONUMENTS TO THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF CENTRAL STREET
MEASURED LONG CONSISTENTLY.
THE BASIS OF BEARING FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE CENTRAL OREGON
COORDINATE SYSTEM.
BASIS OF BEARINGS AND CONTROL
BASIS OF BEARINGS AND CONTROL FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE
CENTRAL OREGON COORDINATE SYSTEM (COCS). GPS CALIBRATIONS
WERE MADE FROM THE ORGN BASE STATIONS (INCLUDING BNDM,
REDM, LAPN, P387 SISTERS, PNVL, AND MDRS) WITH TOPCON HYPER
GPS. THE CALIBRATION TIES MULTIPLE COCS POINTS USING
PUBLISHED COORDINATES. THE COCS HORIZONTAL DATUM IS NAD83
(91) AND USES A MOLODENKSY TRANSFORMATION. THE COCS
VERTICAL DATUM IS NGVD 29
