HE NOTED THAT PROPERTIES IN THE AREA HAVE BEEN USING A FOUND 1" PIPE MONUMENT NO. 1 FOR THE CENTER ONE -QUARTER OF SECTION 17 PLAUSIBLY SET BY JC STRATTON IN THE PLAT OF DESCHUTES RIVER ACRES, (R2). NUMEROUS SURVEYS IN THE AREA HAVE HELD THE 1" IRON PIPE MONUMENT NO. 1 AS THE CENTER ONE -QUARTER AND CORRESPONDINGLY WE WILL ALSO FOR THIS SURVEY. WE FOUND AND HELD THE NORTH ONE -QUARTER CORNER MONUMENT NO. 3 SET BY JAMES BUSSARD IN (R3) AND FURTHER REFERENCED IN OCRR 601. WE FOUND AND HELD THE 3" ALUMINUM CAP MONUMENT NO. 21 AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 17 PER (R3). WE CALCULATED THE EAST ONE -SIXTEENTH CORNER AT THE MIDPOINT BETWEEN MONUMENTS NO. 3 AND NO. 21. NEAR THIS CALCULATED POSITION WE FOUND A 3" ALUMINUM CAP PER (R3) LYING ON THE GROUND NEAR A FENCE POST_ WE FOUND AND HELD A 2" BRASS CAP MONUMENT NO. 18 PER (R16) FOR THE NORTH ONE -SIXTEENTH CORNER. WE FOUND AND HELD A 2" OPEN IRON PIPE MONUMENT NO. 12 PER (R6) FOR THE EAST ONE -QUARTER OF SECTION 17. WE BROKE DOWN THE NORTHEAST ONE -QUARTER OF SECTION 17 WITH THESE MONUMENTS AND CALCULATED POSITIONS FOR THE EAST, CENTER EAST, CENTER NORTH AND NORTHEAST ONE -SIXTEENTH CORNERS TO ESTABLISH THE BEARINGS FOR THE NORTH AND EAST LINES OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY. THE RIGHT OF WAY LINES FOR STATIONMASTER WAY AND 6TH STREET WERE DEEDED TO THE COUNTY FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES PER (D5). WE HELD A LINE BETWEEN MONUMENT NO. 25 PER (R7) AND MONUMENT 8 PER (R7) FOR THE NORTH LINE OF THE ROADWAY. A PORTION OF THIS ROADWAY FALLS WITHIN PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS PARCEL 4 IN WARRANTY DEED (D4).
