THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO PERFECT 3 PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENTS,
DESCHUTES COUNTY FILE NUMBERS 247-21-000859—LL, 247-21-000860—LL AND
247-21-000861—LL. THE PROPERTIES CONVEYED TO FRED M. NEWTON AND
JUDITH A. NEWTON, AS TRUSTEES OR THEIR SUCCESSORS IN TRUST UNDER THE
NEWTON FAMILY TRUST, DATED AUGUST 9, 2017 AND AS DESCRIBED IN
WARRANTY DEED RECORDED AUGUST 17, 2017, IN BOOK 2017, PAGE 32768,
DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS (D1).
WE STARTED OUR SURVEY SEARCHING FOR MONUMENTED CORNERS FOR THE
SUBJECT PROPERTY AND IN THE NEAR VICINITY. WE FOUND AND HELD MON NO. 1
AT THE S 1 /4 CORNER, MON NO. 4 AT THE CS 1 /16TH CORNER, MON NO. 5 AT
THE NW CORNER OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY AND MON NO. 11 AT THE SW
CORNER OF THE PROPERTY. THERE WAS NO RECORD OF MON. 5 AND 11 BEING
SET ALONG WITH OTHER FOUND MONUMENTS NO.'S 7, 8, 12. THESE WERE
PRESUMABLY SET BY GEORGE COOK IN (R6) BUT THAT IS UNCERTAIN.
MONUMENTS NO. 7 AND 8 DID NOT FIT WELL WITH RECORD AND WERE NOT HELD,
SEE DETAILS "A" AND "B". AS A CHECK WE SURVEYED THE EXTERIOR OF THE SW
1 /4 OF SECTION 33 AND THE RESULTS AND BREAKDOWN ARE AS SHOWN. OUR
CLIENTS PROVIDED US WITH AN UNRECORDED SURVEY BY JOHN EATON (R9) FOR
AN ACCESS EASEMENT SURVEY AND A COPY HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO THE
COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE WITH THIS SURVEY. EATON NOTES FINDING
MONUMENTS NO. 11 AND 12, ALONG WITH A RR SPIKE AT THE ANGLE POINT OF
THE ACCESS EASEMENT, MONUMENT NO. 15, SEE DETAIL "C". NEW MONUMENTS
WERE SET FOR THE ADJUSTED LINES AS SHOWN PER CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS.
BASIS OF BEARINGS AND CONTROL FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE CENTRAL OREGON
COORDINATE SYSTEM (COCS). GPS CALIBRATIONS WERE MADE FROM THE ORGN
BASE STATIONS (INCLUDING BNDM, REDM, LAPN, P387 SISTERS, PNVL, AND MDRS)
WITH TOPCON HIPER GPS. THE CALIBRATION TIES MULTIPLE COCS POINTS USING
PUBLISHED COORDINATES. THE DESCHUTES 13 TRANSFORMATION USES A
MOLODENKSY TRANSFORMATION. THE COCS VERTICAL DATUM IS NGVD 29.
