SURVEYOR'S NARRATIVE
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY WAS TO ESTABLISH THE BOUNDARY OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN DEED No.
2021-71178 OF DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS, BEING TAX LOT 1200 OF TAX MAP 17-12-08D. I
FOUND AND HELD 1/2" IRON RODS AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID TAX LOT 1200 AND THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF TAX LOT 1100, SET BY BURTON BROTHERS. I HELD DEED RECORD DISTANCE FROM SAID
NORTHWEST CORNER ALONG THIS LINE TO ESTABLISH THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID TAX LOT 1200. (AN
ESTABLISHED FENCE LIES APPROXIMATELY ONE FOOT SOUTHERLY OF THIS POSITION, AND PRORATING THE
DISTANCE WOULD INCREASE THAT LENGTH AND PULL THE SOUTH LINE FURTHER OFF OF DEED VALUES) I HELD
A 1/2" IRON ROD NEAR THE WEST R/W OF SCENIC DRIVE AS BEING ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID TAX LOT
AND HELD THIS LINE AS MY BASIS OF BEARINGS PER SAID DEED. I HELD DEED DISTANCE OF 551.82 FEET TO
ESTABLISH THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID TAX LOT BUT DIDN'T MONUMENT THIS POINT, WHICH IS THE
CENTERLINE OF SCENIC DRIVE. THE 1/2" IRON ROD WILL SERVE AS A WITNESS CORNER TO MY CALCULATED
NORTH LINE AT THE R/W, BEING 0.57 FEET SOUTHWESTERLY OF THE 30—FOOT R/W POSITION ALONG SAID
NORTH LINE. I HELD A 5/8" IRON ROD SET BY RICHARD BRYANT AS PART OF PARTITION PLAT 1993-62 (R3)
AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE EASTERLY R/W OF SCENIC DRIVE AND THE WESTERLY R/W OF CROOKED ROCKS
ROAD. I ROTATED RECORD BEARINGS AND DISTANCES PER (R1) ALONG THE CENTERLINE OF SCENIC DRIVE
FROM MY CALCULATED NORTHEAST CORNER SO THAT THIS MONUMENT LANDED ON THE EASTERLY R/W OF
SCENIC DRIVE. I HELD DEED DISTANCE FROM SAID NORTHEAST CORNER ALONG THE CENTERLINE TO ESTABLISH
THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF SAID TAX LOT, AND MONUMENTED THE POINT WHERE DEED BEARING FROM
THIS POINT INTERSECTED THE R/W. I ESTABLISHED THE ANGLE POINT IN THE SOUTH LINE AT DEED BEARING
AND DISTANCE FROM SAID SOUTHEAST TAX LOT CORNER. THIS RESOLUTION RESULTED IN THE REMAINDER OF
THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID TAX LOT FITTING DEED BEARING AND DISTANCE VERY WELL.
