SURVEYOR'S NARRATIVE
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO ADJUST THE COMMON LINE BETWEEN TAX LOT 4000 AND TAX
LOT 4001, ALL LOCATED IN LOTS 2,3 AND 4, BLOCK 34, WIESTORIA, CITY OF BEND, DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, AS REQUESTED BY OUR CLIENT AND THE OWNER OF TAX LOT 4000, WALTON ROSS,
AND AS APPROVED BY THE CITY OF BEND IN FILE NO. PLPLAM20220180. VESTING DEEDS PRIOR TO THE
ADJUSTMENT WERE RECORDED AS INSTRUMENT NOS. 2009-12202 AND 2019-14541 IN DESCHUTES
COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS FOR TAX LOTS 4000 AND 4001, RESPECTIVELY.
CONTROL FOR THIS SURVEY IS PER THE SURVEYS OF RECORD REFERENCED HEREIN AND THE
MONUMENTS SHOWN HELD ON THIS MAP AND SET WITH THIS SURVEY. KEVIN BLAKLEY PREVIOUSLY
ADJUSTED THE LINES BETWEEN THE TWO PROPERTIES IN 2007; ALL OF MONUMENTS SET OR
REFERENCED BY BLAKLEY ON THE EXTERIOR BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO SUBJECT PROPERTIES WERE
FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION AND HELD IN THEIR FOUND POSITIONS, EXCEPT FOR ONE CORNER
MONUMENT MISSING AT AN ANGLE POINT ON THE COMMON LINE BETWEEN THE TWO, WHICH WAS
APPARENTLY DESTROYED BY FENCE CONSTRUCTION. THIS CORNER WAS REESTABLISHED BY
DISTANCE -DISTANCE INTERSECTION USING BLAKLEY'S RECORD DATA.
THE ADJUSTED COMMON LINE BETWEEN TAX LOT 4000 AND TAX LOT 4001 WAS THEN MONUMENTED AS
SHOWN, AND A DEED REFLECTING THE ADJUSTED PROPERTIES WAS RECORDED WITH THE
DESCHUTES COUNTY CLERK AS INSTRUMENT NO. 2022-30591. NO UNUSUAL CONDITIONS WERE
ENCOUNTERED.
