HomeMy WebLinkAboutSurvey 20992PURPOSE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO REPLACE ONE MONUMENT THAT WAS DESTROYED DURING LA PINE ADA RAMP IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PURSUANT TO ORS 209.150(1). RESEARCH: WE RESEARCHED ALL OF THE SURVEYS OF RECORD WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THIS PROJECT TO DETERMINE WHERE RECORD MONUMENTS FELL. A SEARCH WAS CONDUCTED FOR THESE MONUMENTS AND WE FOUND ONE MONUMENT (30000) THAT WOULD BE DESTROYED. WE TIED, REFERENCED AND RESET THE MONUMENT AFTER RAMP CONSTRUCTION WAS COMPLETED. REFERENCING PROCEDURES: THE FOUND MONUMENT WAS INITIALLY TIED BY MAKING AT LEAST THREE FIVE MINUTE GPS REAL TIME KINEMATIC (RTK) OBSERVATIONS. IF THE MEAN OF THE THREE RTK OBSERVATIONS RESULTED IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION DIFFERENCE EXCEEDING 0.05', ADDITIONAL OBSERVATIONS WERE MADE UNTIL THE PROJECT HORIZONTAL TOLERANCE OF LESS THAN 0.09 WAS MET. REMONUMENTING PROCEDURES: AFTER THE RAMP CONSTRUCTION, A NEW MONUMENT WAS SET BACK IN THE ORIGINAL POSITION BY TOTAL STATION RESECTION, AND CHECKED AGAINST MEASURED DISTANCES FROM THE NEARBY PROPERTY MONUMENTS. QUALITY CHECKS: A CHECK SHOT WAS TAKEN ON THE NEW MONUMENT BY MAKING ONE RTK OBSERVATION ON THE NEW MONUMENT OF ONE MINUTE OR LESS. THE RESULT OF THE CHECK SHOT WAS WITHIN EXPECTED TOLERANCES. THE QUALITY CHECK OBSERVATION IS TO ENSURE THAT NO ERRORS WERE MADE DURING THE RESETTING PROCESS. PUBLISHED COORDINATES: THE COORDINATES IN THE MONUMENT TABLE ARE THE WEIGHTED AVERAGE FROM THE INITIAL OBSERVATIONS (THREE OBSERVATIONS OF FIVE MINUTES EACH). MEASURED AND RECORD DATA - FOR THE MONUMENTS WHICH WERE ORIGINALLY SET PER CS20318, THIS MAP SHOWS OUR MEASURED VALUES BETWEEN FOUND MONUMENTS COMPARED TO THE RECORD DATA DISCLAIMER: NO CERTIFICATION IS BEING MADE AS TO THE POSITION OF FOUND MONUMENTS RELATIVE TO ANY RECORD PROPERTY LINE OR SECTION LINE OTHER THAN THE LOCATION AT WHICH IT WAS FOUND AND TIED BY DESCHUTES COUNTY IN JUNE OF 2022.
