WE HELD THE FOUND 5/8" IRON ROD WITH YELLOW PLASTIC CAP STAMPED

BASIS OF BEARINGS AND CONTROL FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE CENTRAL OREGON
COORDINATE SYSTEM (COCS). GPS CALIBRATIONS WERE MADE FROM THE ORGN
BASE STATIONS (INCLUDING BNDM, REDM, LAPN, P387 SISTERS, PNVL, AND
MDRS) WITH SP80 SPECTRA PRECISION GPS. THE CALIBRATION TIES MULTIPLE
COCS POINTS USING PUBLISHED COORDINATES. THE DESCHUTES 13
TRANSFORMATION USES A MOLODENKSY TRANSFORMATION. THE COCS VERTICAL
DATUM IS NGVD 29.
