THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO ADJUST THE PROPERTY LINE BETWEEN TRACTS "A" AND "B" AS
SHOWN. TRACT "A IS DESCRIBED IN BOOK 2013, PAGE 11944 (D1), DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL
RECORDS. TRACT "B" IS DESCRIBED IN BOOK 2004, PAGE 58831, (D2) DESCHUTES COUNTY, OFFICIAL
RECORDS. TRACT "B" WAS ADJUSTED PER PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT DEEDS FOR 247-21-000269-LL,
RECORDED IN BOOK 2021, PAGES 40712 & 40713, LATER RE -RECORDED IN BOOK 2022, PAGES 07492 &
07493. DEEDS (D1) AND (D2) EXCEPT OUT AN AREA NOTED AS VOLUME 183, PAGE 75, DESCHUTES

WE BEGAN OUR SURVEY BY LOCATING EXISTING MONUMENTS TO ESTABLISH, CALCULATE AND BREAKDOWN
THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 10 AS SHOWN. WE HELD FOUND MONUMENTS 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 AND 13 FOR MAIN
CORNERS OF NE 1/4 OF SECTION 10, SEE DETAILS ON SHEET 2 FOR ASSOCIATED REFERENCE MONUMENTS.
THE CN 1/16TH CORNER FALLS WITHIN THE PAVING OF HIGHWAY 126 AND NOT LOCATED THIS SURVEY. WE
CALCULATED THE POSITION AT THE MIDPOINT BETWEEN MONUMENTS NO. 3 AND 8 AS SHOWN. WE LOCATED
TWO BEARING TREES FOR THE CN 1/16TH PER (R3) WHICH FIT WELL WITH RECORD FROM OUR CALCULATED
POSITION. WE HELD THE FOUND BRASS CAP, MONUMENT NO. 6 FOR THE N 1/16TH CORNER AS SHOWN. A
SINGLE PROPORTION CALCULATION FOR THE N 1/16TH CORNER WOULD RESULT IN THE LOCATION 1.9 FEET
SW OF THE BRASS CAP, WHICH KARL NOTES IN (R3). OTHERS HAVE HELD THIS BRASS CAP AND IT IS
ALSO NOTED IN (D4) AND (D5) AND MONUMENTS 10, 11 AND 12 WERE ALSO SET BY HOLDING THIS BRASS
CAP.
WE USED THE BEARINGS AND DISTANCES NOTED IN (D4) AND (D5), ROTATED TO FIT MONUMENTS 6 & 10
TO ESTABLISH THE CENTERLINE OF WHYCHUS CREEK PER PROPERTY LINE ADJUSTMENT
247-21-000269-LL. WE ALSO LOCATED THE BANKS OF THE CREEK IN THIS AREA AND THIS CALCULATED
CREEK CENTERLINE FIT WELL.
BOTH (D1) AND (D2) EXCEPT OUT AN AREA AS DESCRIBED IN (D3). THIS AREA LIES SOUTH OF THE
CENTERLINE OF SQUAW CREEK, NOW KNOWN AS WHYCHUS CREEK. WE LOCATED THE BANKS OF THE CREEK
IN THIS AREA AND CALCULATED A CENTERLINE FOR THIS SURVEY AS SHOWN.
OTHER MONUMENTS FOUND DURING THE COURSE OF THIS SURVEY ARE AS SHOWN. NO UNUSUAL
CONDITIONS OR CIRCUMSTANCES WERE ENCOUNTERED DURING THE COURSE OF THIS SURVEY.
BASIS OF BEARINGS AND CONTROL FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE CENTRAL OREGON COORDINATE SYSTEM
(COOS). GPS CALIBRATIONS WERE MADE FROM THE ORGN BASE STATIONS (INCLUDING BNDM, REDM, LAPN,
P387 SISTERS, PNVL, AND MDRS) WITH SP80 SPECTRA PRECISION GPS. THE CALIBRATION TIES MULTIPLE
COCS POINTS USING PUBLISHED COORDINATES. THE DESCHUTES 13 TRANSFORMATION USES A MOLODENKSY
TRANSFORMATION. THE COCS VERTICAL DATUM IS NGVD 29.
