THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY WAS TO ESTABLISH THE BOUNDARY OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN
DEED 2016-22990 OF DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS, BEING LOT 49 BLOCK 16 OF THE PLAT
OF DESCHUTES RIVER RECREATION HOMESITES UNIT 9 PART 1. 1 HELD 1/2" IRON RODS AT THE SW
AND SE CORNERS OF SAID LOT 16. 1 HELD A 1/2" IRON ROD AT THE NE CORNER OF LOT 50, AND A
2-1/2" BRASS CAP AT THE NW CORNER OF LOT 47, SET BY RAYMOND OMAN PER OCRR No. 446
AND MARKED AS SHOWN HEREON. I PRORATED LOT DISTANCES ALONG THIS NORTH LINE TO ESTABLISH
THE NORTH CORNERS OF LOT 49. THE UNIT 9 PART 1 PLAT APPEARS TO CONTAIN AN ERROR IN THE
WIDTH OF THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 47. THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 46 BLOCK 16 OF THE CORRECTED
PLAT OF DESCHUTES RIVER RECREATION HOMESITES INC SHOWS A WIDTH OF 105.5 FEET, WHICH IS
WHAT I HELD FOR MY PRORATION. THE LENGTH OF THE LINE COMMON TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE
UNIT 9 PART 1 PLAT AND THE SOUTH LINE OF THE CORRECTED PLAT, BETWEEN THE EAST R/W OF
SOLAR DRIVE AND THE WEST R/W OF WHAT IS NOW ECLIPSE DRIVE DIFFERS BY 5.5 FEET. APPLYING
THE 5.5 FEET TO LOT 47 MAKES A BETTER FIT FOR EXISTING FENCES, ASSUMING THAT PROPERTY
LINES WEREN'T MEANT TO BE STAGGERED ALONG THAT LINE. THE TAX LOT SHOWS A DISTANCE OF 100
FEET FOR THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 47, BUT IT SCALES 105.5, AS DOES THE LINE IN DIAL IMAGERY. I
HELD THE NORTH LINE OF THE UNIT 9 PART 1 SUBDIVISION (SAME AS THE SOUTH LINE OF THE
CORRECTED PLAT) AS THE BASIS OF BEARINGS FOR THIS DRAWING. IT IS UNCLEAR WHETHER 5.5 FEET
ALSO APPLIES TO THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 47. THE TWO ENGINEERS TRYING TO SURVEY NEXT TO
EACH OTHER MAY HAVE HAD SOME DISAGREEMENTS THAT WERE RESOLVED INCORRECTLY FOR AT
LEAST ONE OF THEM. THE 1/2" IRON RODS NEAR THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 48 WERE SIGNIFICANTLY
OUT OF POSITION AND NOT HELD FOR THIS SURVEY. A WOOD FENCE RUNS BETWEEN THE TWO RODS.
