WE WERE RETAINED BY LUMEN TECHNOLOGIES TO MONUMENT THE BOUNDARY LINE OF TAX LOTS
151321ABOO400 & 151321AB00500.
SEVERAL MONUMENTS OF RECORD PER (r1) AND (r3) WERE FOUND DURING THE COURSE OF THIS
SURVEY AND WERE HELD TO CALCULATE THE MISSING CORNERS. MODERN FENCES EXIST WHICH
CLOSELY FOLLOW MONUMENTS AND DIMENSIONS OF PRIOR SURVEYS.
SW VETERAN'S WAY WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED AS REDMOND AIRPORT ROAD IN COMMISSIONERS
JOURNAL 3-415 ON AUGUST 11, 1938 AS A 60' WIDE RIGHT OF WAY. THE ROAD WAS SURVEYED AND
MONUMENTED BY THE COUNTY SURVEYOR AS SHOWN PER ROAD TRACING RD02183, ON FILE WITH THE
DESCHUTES COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE (r5). THE NORTH LINE OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY, BEING
THE SOUTHERLY R/W LINE OF SW VETERAN'S WAY, WAS ESTABLISHED BY HOLDING THE 2 FOUND
MONUMENTS PER (r3) ALONG SW VETERANS WAY AS SHOWN. THE CALCULATED RECORD RADIUS PER
SAID ROAD TRACING RD02183 (6) WAS HELD. THE SURVEY CS01327 REPORTS A DIFFERENT RADIUS BUT
IT APPEARS TO BASE THE CENTERLINE ON THE EXISTING TRAVELLED WAY AT THAT TIME, WHICH I DID
NOT HOLD. A PORTION OF THE NORTH LINE OF TAX LOT 500 WAS ESTABLISHED BY HOLDING THE NORTH
LINE OF SECTION 21 AS SHOWN, SEE DETAIL THIS SHEET.
THE WEST LINE OF TAX LOTS 400 & 500 WAS DEFINED BY THE 2 FOUND MONUMENTS PER SURVEYS
CS01327(r3) & CS01323(r1) AS SHOWN. SAID WEST LINE WAS EXTENDED SOUTHERLY THE RECORD
DISTANCE OF 97.58' PER CS01327 TO ESTABLISH THE MISSING SW CORNER OF TAX LOT 500.
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF TAX LOT 400 WAS ESTBLISHED BY A DISTANCE -DISTANCE INTERSECTION

THE EASTERLY LINES OF TAX LOT 400 WERE ESTABLISHED BY HOLDING THE AFOREMENTIONED
INTERSECTION AND FOUND MONUMENTS PER CS01323.
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF TAX LOT 500 WAS ESTABLISHED BY A DISTANCE -DISTANCE INTERSECTION
USING RECORD DISTANCES FROM CS01327.
THE EASTERLY LINES OF TAX LOT 500 WERE ESTABLISHED BY HOLDING MONUMENTS PER CS01327 AND
THE AFOREMENTIONED DISTANCE -DISTANCE INTERSECTION.
THE BASIS OF BEARINGS FOR THIS SURVEY IS THE CENTRAL OREGON COORDINATE SYSTEM AS
DETERMINED BY GPS OBSERVATIONS USING THE OREGON REAL-TIME GNSS NETWORK (ORGN) AND A
TRIMBLE CALIBRATION USING PUBLISHED COORDINATES FOR CENTRAL OREGON COORDINATE SYSTEM
CONTROL POINTS.
