Sisters area; Hardy Allen
and wife Daisy moved to
Sisters in 1905. Hardy’s
father, Albert Allen, had
arrived in Oregon on the
Meek Lost Wagon Train
in 1845. The Allens built
this house in 1908 on the
NW corner of Main and
Fir streets.
The house was scheduled for demoliƟon, but was saved from that fate by being moved 3 blocks to its current
site.
