HomeMy WebLinkAboutHotel SistersJohn Dennis built the structure in 1912. He planned on having 19 rooms,
featuring heated air from a furnace in the basement, hot and cold water, and
two communal bathrooms. This building is one of two remaining structures
from the original Sisters business district. Hotel Sisters escaped the 1923 and
1924 fires.
On April 10, 1912, The BulleƟn
described Dennis’ accomplishment as,
“A modern hotel that would be a credit
to a town considerably larger than
Sisters.”
