NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2013-001. The Behavioral Health Department will increase the Personnel Category by $159,728. Effective March 1,2013, the Behavioral Health Department will hire a Behavioral Health Specialist III (1.00 FTE) and a Behavioral Health Specialist II (1.00 FTE). These two positions will be part of a newly created access team that is responsible for conducting new client assessments. This change was not anticipated at the time of the FY 2013 budget. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $159,728 is necessary. RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED: Approval and signature of Resolution #2013-001.
