Consideration and signature of Resolution #2013-001, transfer of appropriation in the Deschutes
County Behavioral Health Fund. ,

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2013-001. The Behavioral Health Department will increase the Personnel
Category by $159,728. Effective March 1,2013, the Behavioral Health Department will hire a
Behavioral Health Specialist III (1.00 FTE) and a Behavioral Health Specialist II (1.00 FTE). These
two positions will be part of a newly created access team that is responsible for conducting new client
assessments. This change was not anticipated at the time of the FY 2013 budget.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from Contingency to Personnel for $159,728 is necessary.

Approval and signature of Resolution #2013-001.

WHEREAS, attached is a request from the Behavioral Health Department requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
