PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2013-003. Due to extenuating circumstances involving an individual placed on an emergency hold, additional appropriation is required in the Materials & Services category. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: An appropriation transfer from Contingency to Materials & Services for $21,000 is necessary. That the following transfers of appropriations be made: FROM: 276-2200-501.97-01 Deschutes County Acute Care Services, Contingency $ 21,000 TO: 276-2200-444.33-50 Deschutes County Acute Care Services, Emergency Hold $ 21,000 Section 2. In an effort to avoid admitting an individual to the State Hospital, this client was treated at Lifeways while waiting for a secure residential treatment facility bed to be available. This event is unusual and was unknown during the FY 13 budget process.
