TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Consideration and signature of Resolution #2013-005, transfer of appropriations in the Campus
Improvement Fund.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Consideration of Resolution #2013-005. Due to unanticipated changes throughout the duration of the
Campus Improvement Project, additional appropriation is required in the Materials & Services
category.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
A transfer of appropriation from the Capital Outlay and Contingency categories to the Materials &
Services category for $190,000 is required.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval and signature of Resolution #2013-005.

Within the Various Funds of the 2012-2013 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-005 *
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries *
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail from the Property and Facilities Director requesting a
transfer of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following transfers of appropriations be made:

FROM: 463-0800-419-92.10 Deschutes County Campus Improvement,

A transfer of appropriation is required for the following reason and will be used for the following purpose:
As with any remodel or construction project, scope and other changes occur throughout the duration of the project. Additional
furniture was added per approval of the Board of Commissioners, additional HVAC and plumbing changes were required, and
additional storage and AV changes were made. Appropriation budgeted in capital outlay will be transferred to M&S.
