PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: Consideration of Resolution #2013-013. The Public Health Department was awarded additional grant funding for $16,876, which will be used to develop a shared approach to Public Health preparedness in Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes Counties. FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: The County will receive an additional $16,876 from a private grant. This funding will provide additional resources not included in the FY 2013 Adopted Budget and will be appropriated for Personnel, including increasing a position by .20 FTE, Materials & Service and increasing Contingency. The purpose of this grant is to develop a shared approach to public health preparedness in Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes Counties. A portion of this grant will increase .20 fte for Mary Goodwin.
