TITLE OF AGENDA ITEM:
Annual Report -Deschutes River Mitigation and Enhancement Program.
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No.
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
The primary purpose of the Deschutes River Mitigation and Enhancement (M&E) Committee is to
review plans developed and submitted by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for
mitigation and enhancement of the upper Deschutes River in connection with the Central Oregon
Irrigation District (COlD) hydroelectric project.
The M&E Committee is interested in presenting its annual report with the County Commissioners.
Nancy Doran with ODFW and Steve Johnson with COlD will highlight recent projects completed in
the Deschutes Basin and answer any questions about the overall program.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
None.
