Consideration of signature of Document No. 2013-233, An Acceptance Deed for Right of Way on
Yeoman Road from the Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District
PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? NO.
BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District (BMPRD) is developing the approximately 180-acre
property that is located at the intersection of Yeoman Road and Deschutes Market Road into a
community park through Land Use application CU-06-61 and SP-06-23. As a result of this
dcvelopment, BMPRD is required to widen Yeoman Road along the north boundary of the property and
also install a left tum lane on Yeoman Road at the intersection with Deschutes Market Road along with
a northbound left tum lane on Deschutes Market Road. In order to make the improvements to Yeoman
Road, BMPRD will be required to dedicate additional right of way along Yeoman Road. BMPRD has
signed the dedication deed and BOCC signature of the acceptance deed will finalize the process.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS:
None. All improvements to Yeoman Road are being done by BMPRD at their expense.
RECOMMENDATION & ACTION REQUESTED:
Move approval of Board Signature on Document No. 2013-233, accepting the right-of-way dedication
on Yeoman Road

RIGHT OF WAY DEDICATION
Two parcels ofland containing a total of 27,642 square feet, more or less, being portions
of Parcell, Partition Plat No. 2007-74, located in the Northeast One-Quarter (NE1/4) of
Section 22, and in the Northwest One-Quarter of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW1I4
NW1I4) of Section 23, Township 17 South, Range 12 East, W.M., Deschutes County,
Oregon, being more particularly described as follows:
Dedication Parcell:
Beginning at the northwest comer of Parcel 1, Partition Plat No. 2007-74, on the south
right of way line of Yeoman Road; thence along said southerly right of way line, and
being 20.00 feet south of and parallel with the north boundary of said (NE1I4), North
89°37'08" East a distance of 481.30 feet to a point hereinafter refened to as Point "A",
said point further lies 30.00 feet south of the as constructed centerline of said road; thence
leaving said right of way line, and running 30.00 feet south of and parallel with said as
constructed centerline the following one (1) curve and one (1) course:
8.04 feet along a non-tangent curve to the left with a radius of 19970.00 feet, the chord of
which bears South 89°17'42" West a distance of 8.04 feet;
South 89°17'01" West a distance of473.28 feet to the west boundary of said Parcell;
thence leaving said parallel line, along said west boundary, North 00°00'00" East a
