Consideration of Board signature of Document 2013-200, a Deed to the La Pine Senior Citizens, Inc.

BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS:
In 2004, Deschutes County received a $600,000 Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") to
build a full service senior center building in La Pine. Clients of the La Pine Senior Citizens, Inc.
("LPSCI"), a nonprofit corporation, are the beneficiaries of the project. As required by the CDBG,
Deschutes County maintained title to the real property and LPSCI entered into a Promissory Note and
Trust Deed to ensure all conditions of the grant are met. The five-year continued use requirement
expired on April 10,2013. Deschutes County is no longer subject to any state or federal requirements
ofthe CDBG program regarding the La Pine Senior Center.
At their work session April 10, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners agreed to execute a deed to
the La Pine Senior Citizens, Inc.

DESCHUTES COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon, Grantor, conveys to LA PINE
SENIOR CITIZENS, INC., an Oregon nonprofit corporation, Grantee, the following described real
property:
Parcel 1 , Partition Plat No. 2004-47, Deschutes County, Oregon,
SUBJECT TO all encumbrances of record and those common and apparent on the land.
BEFORE SIGNING OR ACCEPTING THIS INSTRUMENT, THE PERSON TRANSFERRING FEE
TITLE SHOULD INQUIRE ABOUT THE PERSON'S RIGHTS, IF ANY, UNDER ORS 195.300, 195.301
AND 195.305 TO 195.336 AND SECTIONS 5 TO 11, CHAPTER 424, OREGON LAWS 2007,
SECTIONS 2 TO 9 AND 17, CHAPTER 855, OREGON LAWS 2009, AND SECTIONS 2 TO 7,
CHAPTER 8, OREGON LAWS 2010. THIS INSTRUMENT DOES NOT ALLOW USE OF THE
PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN THIS INSTRUMENT IN VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAND USE
LAWS AND REGULATIONS. BEFORE SIGNING OR ACCEPTING THIS INSTRUMENT, THE

thereupon revert to Grantor, its successor or assigns.
The true consideration for this conveyance is satisfaction of Promissory Note dated March 26, 2007, and
the Line of Credit Instrument, Trust Deed, Security Agreement recorded as document 2007-21831,
Official Records of Deschutes County, Oregon.
