PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS DATE? No BACKGROUND AND POLICY IMPLICATIONS: In 2004, Deschutes County received a $600,000 Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") to build a full service senior center building in La Pine. Clients of the La Pine Senior Citizens, Inc. ("LPSCI"), a nonprofit corporation, are the beneficiaries of the project. As required by the CDBG, Deschutes County maintained title to the real property and LPSCI entered into a Promissory Note and Trust Deed to ensure all conditions of the grant are met. The five-year continued use requirement expired on April 10,2013. Deschutes County is no longer subject to any state or federal requirements ofthe CDBG program regarding the La Pine Senior Center. At their work session April 10, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners agreed to execute a deed to the La Pine Senior Citizens, Inc.
